Lone Workers

One of the most important responsibilities as an employer is to keep your team safe, and this can be hard to achieve when they work alone in ever changing environments. By providing each worker with a personal alarm, you ensure that no matter where they are, they can call for help when needed.

The alarm is immediately sent to our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), who will assess their current GPS location and listen to what is happening. They are then able to arrange the appropriate response without the user having to speak to them directly.

Dementia

Dementia is a progressive syndrome that causes a decline in cognitive abilities, such as thinking, remembering, and reasoning, that interferes with daily life.

It's caused by a number of diseases that damage the brain and destroy nerve cells over time. Dementia can affect a person's: memory, thinking, behaviour, motor control, emotions, and personality.

Dementia is not a normal part of aging, and not everyone develops it as they get older. However, it's more common as people age, and about one-third of all people aged 85 or older may have some form of dementia.

In the UK, there are an estimated 1 million people living with dementia, and this number is expected to rise to 1.4 million by 2040. This is due to population growth and an aging population. Our personal alarms are designed to track people with dementia whose tendency is to wander off away from home. Our Geo-Fencing technology enable family members to pre-set boundaries and to be alerted if the boundary is crossed.

Personal Safety

If you or your family are concerned about your personal safety and you're looking for an easy-to-use personal alarm then look no further.

Our personal alarm incorporates the Plus^® 24/7 SOS call button, and emergency response service, providing peace of mind for you and your family.

In challenging circumstances where the individual may be under threat and unable to use their phone to ring for help, our device allows them to raise a silent alarm by simply pressing the SOS button.

A member of our emergency response team will assess the user's current GPS location and switch to loudspeaker mode to listen to what is happening. They can then activate the appropriate response, including calling a family member or the police, without the user necessarily having to speak to them directly.

Post-operative Care

Many people live alone and do not venture far from home because they are worried about their personal health and safety. They could also be suffering from a chronic health condition.

Most hospitals suffer from a huge increase in elderly admissions - particularly in the winter months, and often don't have the capacity to cope. This results in 'bed blocking' and spiralling costs.

Many hospitals are introducing the concept of 'Virtual Wards' where patients are released early and provided with enhanced care in the home.

By introducing managed care in the community, patients can be discharged from hospital earlier, resulting in reduced readmissions and substantial cost savings.

TelecarePlus is able to provide 24/7 remote monitoring and support, enabling patients to be more mobile and independent in the knowledge that help is always at hand.

KidsZone

KidsZone is designed for parents who are concerned about their children's safety when away from home.

The Plus^® personal safety alarm incorporates an SOS button and 2-way calling, using the national 4G mobile network.

The alarm's attractive compact design fits unobtrusively in a jacket pocket, on a belt clip, lanyard, or in a school bag.

When the alarm button is activated, the user will be connected directly to our 24/7 Plus^® emergency response team. They will identify the user's location and the nature of the emergency. They will maintain an open voice channel whilst contacting the nominated family member or friend, and if necessary they will summon the emergency services.

The device incorporates a GPS tracking and geo-fencing capability, enabling the child's exact location to be checked at any time if required.
